Five Cells: the gate hall

The second Five Cells video is out. Watch it here. It is fifteen seconds in the gate hall, and I would rather not explain how it ends.

The gate hall: one green strip down the middle of the floor, running to the far door and its caged bulb

The gate hall is the corridor the whole game happens off. It is fifty-six metres of dark behind the cage's card door, with one green strip down the middle of the floor and a caged bulb by each of the five cell doors. The strip is there so you can find your way back.

Everything in the video comes out of the game. The camera move is rendered from the build, and every sound is the game's own: the room tone, the sodium hum, and whatever that was off to the left.

Five Cells is a first-person horror game, coming to PC. Its page opens up a little more with every post.
